Everything is gay
Long busy summer... It's been a long time since I sat down and had time to post.
Faye is loving the new daycare. She went to the Zoo. She did baby back flips when she saw the elephants. It was pretty damn cute.
The garden is big and Faye has a big pumpkin growing. It's the only pumpkin on a giant vine. It's going to be her first pumpkin right off the vine for her first Halloween.
Tropical storm Faye is standing regularly and destroying everything in her path. It won't be long until she walks. We need 6 more sets of eyes. It's amazing how damn fast on those knees a kid can be.
The Buttermaker Express is almost finished. I can't wait to take Faye for a ride in it as soon as the new paint dries.
Fran and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary yesterday. 14 years!!! We took Faye out for sushi. She was a wiggle worm the whole time and had a severe crush on one of the sushi chefs. She wouldn't take her eyes off of him. I yelled at him to keep his eyes on his work. That's my girl and not his. He knew what was good for him.
Here are some pics of Faye that have nothing to do with anything that I just wrote about.
We went to Lincoln City for a weekend with Janice Greg and Rocket.
A nice relaxing getaway.
Faye loves the beach. The cold Northwest beach.

Faye with her favorite animal at the zoo.
Who the hell am I to tell her it ain't real?

Gay Bear
Proof that there were animals at the zoo. If you look real hard you'll see a giraffe and he was definitely gay.
The family on the pier in Santa Monica.

Me and spike playing "My two Dads with Faye"
Funny but really gay.

Faye and Grandma Pat at the Navy Pier in Chicago.
Faye thinks the Navy is a bit gay too.
Purse Snatcher!!!
A proper Gordon wearing her babushka.

Of course Faye picked the weird horse.
If you know anything about Chicago the you know SUPERDAWG!!!!!!!
Some say Chicago's Middle Linebacker Brian Urlacher is the best to ever play the game.
Fran worked with him on an Old Spice commercial and Faye got to hang out with him.
Here is Faye looking confused.

Here is Faye with Mickey Mouse
Here is Brian Urlacher with Donald Duck.

Here is Faye and Brian Urlacher, partying.
What a nice guy. Thanks Brian Urlacher.

4 good things
Faye started her new daycare this week. She loves it. She is the youngest kid and the toughest.
Here's Faye and Fran on the first day in the morning. Check out Buttermakers bad ass mowhak.
So punk.

Still loves the swing like a fat kid loves cake.

This kid eats like nobody business. Double fisting anything that you put in front of her.
Breakfast eating machine!!

And that brings me to the 4th good thing. Even though Faye wasn't there (sadly) it was still pretty awesome.
Matt, Savannah and I drove to Scappoose Oregon because we heard Derek Anderson was going to be hanging out in his hometown bar. Who's Derek Anderson?? Come on!! Only the starting Quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. Did I mention that he was also the starting Pro Bowl quarterback last season? He's from Oregon.
Derek was really cool. We were total dorks and totally talked to him. I had about 3 pints of courage in me. I walked up to him and said "Congratulations" to him. He looked at me all squirrelly and said "for what"? I said for winning the Superbowl in 09. That got a laugh from him and a backslap so hard that I spit and choked a little. Even though we are the same height he is twice my size. Check out how happy Matt is. He's about ready to bust. I think he was peeing a little in his shorts as this picture was taken.
Faye totally loves the Browns.

Billetproof
I'm doing this a little backwards and half assed but I had this feeling today that I am a total slacker and need to post something. So I give you one AWESOME image of Flavor Faye and Daddy at the Billetproof car show in Chehalis Washington. It was the best car show that I have ever been to. Check out why here http://www.billetproof.com/. Just a really great day in the sun with my girls (and Geoff Cecil) and the coolest cars that I have ever seen. The reason why this post is backassed is that I went to Big Sur and met up with Fran and Faye in New York prior to this day and I need to post those pictures and story as well. Geoff just took a great photo and I wanted to get it up asap. So stay tuned...Photos of Faye Gordon taking over NYC are soon on the way.
It was 100 degrees and Faye was still as cool as it comes.
