Hold on tight Buttermaker! Grab a rib kid!

Browns win!!!! Thanks Buttermaker!

It's been been pretty mellow around here since the last post. A few weeks have gone by and that means Buttermaker has gotten a few weeks older and wiser.

We registered for Frans baby shower on Saturday. It made the reality of having a baby even more real. We staring buying a few things for the arrival of Buttermaker. 228 Huggies to be exact. If that don't make it real, I don't know what does. so many poopy diapers on the way.

Fran is now telling me that she is pretty sure Buttermaker is a girl. hmmmm. I still have no feeling one way or the other. Either way, I'm happy. It's a win win situation.

Fran and I watched the Cleveland/Cincinnati game Sunday morning at the Portland City Bar.
It was a lot of fun. After all these years I still can't get used to having breakfast and coffee at Kick Off.
The Portland Browns Backers throw a fun party (even at 10 a.m.)
Obviously Buttermaker brought the luck we needed and the Browns beat the Bengals 51-45. Thanks Buttermaker that was the highest scoring NFL game that I have ever watched.
The Browns QB, Derek Anderson is from Oregon State. They ran a giant photo of him on the cover of Modays Oregonian.
I'm definitely making sure buttermaker is there for next weeks game. A new family tradition.

Here are some pictures for the folks back in Ohio showing that there are a lot of Cleveland fans all the way out here in Oregon.

Fran and the guys that run the Portland Browns Backers. Frans buying raffle tickets to win some Browns swag at half time.
We came up empty handed on that one.

And a few shots of all the folks in Portland who love Cleveland.

Happy Day After Labor Day.

Buttermaker is all grown up and kicking Fran in the ribs whenever Buttermaker feels like it.
Fran thinks Buttermaker is "long".
We took Buttermaker and Earl to the Portland Beavers (AA Baseball) game on Saturday night.
It was "Bark in the park"!! 2 nights a summer they let mans best friend go to a game.
It was great seeing a bunch of dogs at a baseball game. A dog sitting right behind us ate too much ice and barfed everywhere.
Earl just went from lap to lap having no patience or sense of humor for a baseball game. After many lap dances from Earl, Buttermaker started kicking real hard and we had to split. Those aren't the most comfortable seats in the world.
I have the "Buttermaker Express" all cleaned up and tuned up. We drove it to Sandy (Mt. Hood) before the game on Saturday.
It purrrrrrd like a kitten all the way there and back. It sure does bring the smiles from friends. I think it's more like a laugh than a smile.
Shaun and Nicci had us over for a Labor Day picinic. Shaun made the best pulled pork and Nicci made a bad ass peach cobbler.
We played "cornhole" have you ever played "cornhole"? It was super fun. Look it up.
Anyway here are some shots from the game and Sandy Oregon.
Earls wearing a little red cape. He got that from me. I think little capes are dope.

The Buttermaker Express in Sandy oregon. It loves the woods!! Home.

And just for kicks here is a really bizarre bust of J.F.K. that was just in some random yard by the Humane Society on Columbia Blvd. Sweet lawn art buddy!

Week 29

Our Little Buttermaker is 29 weeks today. Eleven weeks to go. Buttermaker is 15 inches long and weighs 2 and a half pounds.
On Friday we bought a long awaited heap. It's a 1965 Chevy C/10 Fleetside. So Awesome. Duly named the 'Buttermaker Express". It's going to give me something to keep my brained wrapped around besides diapers on the weekends.

For it's maiden voyage we filled the bed up with a load of garbage and debris that had been piling up and went to the dump. That's right. I loaded up the dog and the wife and took them on a proper trip to the dump. Frans never been to the dump. She liked it. Earl thought he was above going to the dump. Highbrow bastard.

Today is our 13th wedding anniversary. 13 years ago we got married here. www.gracelandchapel.com
So did that Jon Bon Jovi fruit cake. Sweet.

What a great 13 years!!!!!!!

Here is a pick of Fran with the Buttermaker Express.

The Buttermaker Express

Earl just relax already.

We are preparing the coolers in the backyard. Buttermaker will need a cold one after along day of helping me keep that truck running. Or I'll need a cold one after a long day at the hospital getting a tetanus shot from a rusty cut on my hand.

Buttermaker is a growin'

Well I haven't written for a while because we had a scare about 2 weeks ago. Old little Buttermaker was ready to come out early.
Fran and I went in for a routine check up and the found that fran was having contractions.
Not good. The doctor put Fran on bed rest for a week. Fran almost went crazy from boredom. Fortunately it worked. The contractions stopped and everything is back to normal. Pheeew. I was agreat Butler for 8 days if I do say so myself.

As you can see from the picture below. The belly is really growin' which means Buttermaker is growing.

Hold tight little one, there's no hurry.

22 Weeks and counting

We took off on a road trip to the Riswolds (Chateau Relaxo) for the 4th of July.
They have a house in Sun River Oregon. It's hot but the Woodpeckers sure are friendly.
Jim made a ton of great food. Coffee rubbed pork ribs, home made baked beens, corn on the cob, and some type of Chinese cole slow that I couldn't stop eating. It was relaxing and gay. Here is our handsome host. He is a lot like the original Coach Buttermaker, he drinks and swears a lot.

When we got home on Thursday, Jason Keller was at our house. He's our good friend from Ohio.
He was here to see us and a good friend in Pacific City. Coincidentally we were going to Pacific City on Saturday to see Scott and Paola and their AWESOME baby Romeo. Here are some photos to prove that the sun does shine in Oregon.

Fran...Pregnant windblown and sexy.

Pimp!

Romeo is such a baller that he has women carry him around.

A really big mound of sand.

Have you ever noticed that Pregnant and Vagrant sound alot alike?

Jason Keller coming to you live and direct from Pacific City.

It's a good thing we don't have to raise Buttermaker in this cave.

Fran and the giant dune.

Foxes

Of course Earl likes the beach he's from Mexico.

Tough guy

This is Fran freezing her pregnant ass off.

This is called a Dory Boat. They just charge the beach at full speed and then just beach the damn thing.

Long time

It's been a long time since we posted anything.
Buttermaker is doing great. We got some test back and the little one is all healthy and right on track.

We now have a bassinet in our bedroom. It appeared out of nowhere. (to me anyways) I think the Hornbeckers might of brought it over? not too sure. Anyway, seeing that little crib there makes it really real.

Fran is really healthy and starting to show. She bought some new maternity clothes and looking very stylish.

That's really about it for now. I'm happy it's been very mellow around here.
Have a great Independence day!!
